KAT + JOSH's Dreamy Ojai Ranch Wedding
On a misty, beautiful day in Ojai, California, I had the privilege of photographing Kat + Josh's wedding on Josh's family ranch. The couple shared their first look and private vows on the mountaintop on the ranch where they had their first date before making their way to the ceremony site.
The ceremony began with a brief prayer from Josh's dad. The love between Kat and Josh was palpable, and it was an honor to capture the emotions of the ceremony as these two amazing humans laughed and cried their way to promising forever to each other.
After the ceremony, the couple took a bus to their reception site in keeping with the ranch theme. The reception was lively and full of energy. Both avid swing-dancers, the couple started the party with a first dance for the books. As the sun set and the smell of delicious BBQ filled the air, family members came forward to share their love for Kat + Josh.
As a photographer, there is nothing better than photographing true love, and Kat + Josh have it. They are playful, fun, and truly bring out the very best in each other. I fully expect them to have a lifelong love full of tequila, laughter, dancing, and cute puppies.
