COLIN + OLIVIA's Surprise Wildflower Proposal

Colin planned an epic surprise proposal for Olivia among the first of the spring wildflowers in Walker Canyon near San Diego, California. I’ve actually known Colin for almost a decade, and I have to say, it’s something truly special when you get to witness one of your friends propose to their forever person.

I was definitely shooting through tears, crouched in the bushes atop the windy mountain spot we’d picked (what can I say, I’m a total hopeless romantic). Colin designed a unique engagement ring for Olivia, choosing a sapphire instead of a diamond. We had a blast shooting all along the rolling ridgelines as the sun set, casting golden light on the next chapter of their love story.
